We are seeking a highly qualified Equine Surgeon (m/f/d) to join our professional and dynamic team.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures
- Carry out orthopedic appointments
- Diagnose and treat equine patients, developing tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with our veterinary team of specialists to ensure the highest standards of care
- Participate in emergency on-call services as needed
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns
- Engage in continuing education and stay updated on the latest advancements in equine surgery
Your qualification:
- Board certification in equine surgery (ECVS/ACVS) or equivalent qualification
- Completed residency program in equine/ large animal surgery
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A compassionate approach to patient care and client communication
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus
